The name Aptuum comes from apt -meaning skilled, capable, and just right. It reflects the talent and potential I believe is out there, often unnoticed or overlooked - combined with U and M, standing for You and Me

Together, they form a space for collaboration - a meeting point for people with ideas, skill, and passion.

I created Aptuum to bring talented individuals together - especially perfumers who are just starting out, without a brand or the means to launch on their own. But it's not limited to perfumers. It’s also for designers, creatives, or anyone who wants to share their work and co-create something meaningful.

I believe we can make beautiful, bold things together. Things that wouldn’t exist otherwise.

Aga Lewandowska

The creator, heart, soul, and brain behind Aptuum. After building Le Frag, a very personal and edgy perfume world shaped by my own stories, I felt a growing desire to create something that wasn’t just about me. Aptuum is that space.

Here, I don’t choose names or stories - I choose people. Talented perfumers, designers, and creatives who deserve to be seen. My role is simply to support them and give them a place to shine.

If you’re a creative with something to show, I’d be happy to share your work in Aptuum.

REACH OUT

Gwen Gao

The first perfumer of Aptuum and the person who inspired me to create it. I discovered her work in Barcelona during a perfumery competition, where her scent immediately stood out. It was fresh, unexpected, and full of character, and it made me want to know the creator behind it.

As we talked, I realised how hard it is for new talents to be truly seen. I knew her work deserved visibility, and Aptuum became the space for that.

Gwen is a Taiwanese perfumer trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, blending her heritage with European technique. Her creations have appeared at New York Fashion Week and Taiwan Night in Cannes, and she now brings her creativity to the IFF Shanghai Fine Fragrance team.

She represents exactly what Aptuum is about: authentic, original talent finally getting its moment to shine.

Joanna Nocoń

The brilliant designer behind our logo and packaging - a true queen of collage. She runs Akuratnie Studio, a multidisciplinary design studio based in Kraków.

Her work combines branding, packaging, and digital art, often using digital and analog collage to tell stories in a visually rich, geometric, and feminine way.

I discovered her through design contests: I always admired her proposals, even though they rarely won. For me, she was already a winner - she brings a deeply creative and original voice to Aptuum.
